A custom-built wooden dog bowl stand on caster wheels with rope detail accents, holding three stainless steel bowls. The piece sees daily use in a multi-pet household — bowl placement, water sloshing, the dog's own contact with the frame. LEINOS Pigment Concentrate 668 in deep red was brushed into the bare wood for the colour, then sealed with two coats of Universal Hard Oil 259 to handle water spills and pet-paw scuffs.
Caster-wheel mounts and the bowl-hole rims got extra attention — wear points where the oil needs to hold up to repeated metal-on-wood contact. Pigment 668 went on with a brush in long even strokes; Hard Oil 259 was applied 24 hours later with a cloth pad for the smoother surface.
