INTERIOR CARE & CLEANING · ART. 930
Wood floor cleaner that won’t strip the oil.
LEINOS 930 is a liquid soap made from vegetable oils, for oiled and waxed timber floors, worktops and linoleum indoors. At 30–50 ml in a 10-litre bucket it cleans and puts a little fat back into the finish. Made in Germany by Reincke Naturfarben.
Mechanism & Use
How LEINOS 930 Vegetable Soap works.
Plant-oil soap cleans an oiled finish without washing it bare, as long as it is used at the strength the finish can take.
A soap made from oil, for a floor finished in oil
The soap is the potassium salt of fatty acids pressed from vegetable oils. It loosens grease and dirt so the mop can carry them away. It is also fat-replenishing: some of the fat stays in the pore, which is what an oiled floor needs from its cleaner.
The dilution is a ceiling, not a guide
On oiled, waxed and untreated-linoleum surfaces, use at most 30–50 ml in 10 litres of water. Soap is alkaline, and a stronger mix stains an oiled surface. More soap does not clean more; it marks the floor.
Soap cleans. Floor Milk replenishes.
Each wash takes a little of the care layer with the dirt. After roughly two to four washes, depending on how hard the floor is cleaned, a pass of LEINOS 920 Floor Milk puts it back, so the floor stays protected through years of cleaning.
Two ingredients, both on the label
Water, and the potassium salts of vegetable-oil fatty acids. As an InVeNa member LEINOS publishes every ingredient, so that is the complete list.
Where It Lives
Where 930 lives
Oiled and waxed timber floors
The core case: plank, strip and parquet floors cleaned without washing the finish bare.
Wooden worktops
Named in the TDS alongside floors. Use the same weak dilution on an oiled top.
Untreated linoleum
Same ceiling as oiled wood: at most 30–50 ml in 10 litres.
Tiles, laminate and PVC
A universal household cleaner on hard floors. Neat on a cloth for stubborn marks.
Lacquered surfaces
Lacquered floors and joinery clean the same way, with a well-wrung mop.
Brushes and tools
The tool cleaner for LEINOS water-based paints, primers and waxes.
Disclosure · Origin
Two claims, both checkable.
A cleaner carries fewer certificates than a coating. These are the ones that apply.
Ingredient disclosure
InVeNa member
Every ingredient is published. For this soap that is two: water and the potassium salts of vegetable-oil fatty acids.
Origin
Horneburg, Germany
Manufactured by Reincke Naturfarben in Horneburg, to the same formulation sold in Germany.
There is no VOC stamp and no toy-safety test here. The EU VOC categories are written for paints and varnishes, and a cleaner sits outside them; no migration test is named for this soap, so we do not borrow one from a coating. What we state instead is the full ingredient list and the hazard: the concentrate irritates skin and eyes, so wear gloves and eye protection when handling it. The TDS is downloadable; the safety data sheet is issued on request — use Talk to LEINOS above.

Approx. 30–50 ml of soap per 10 litres of water. One litre makes 20–33 buckets of wash water.
Drying Time
Not a coating, so nothing cures. Let the floor dry before walking on it.
Tools
Soft broom or vacuum, Bucket, Flat mop, Cotton cloths, Single-disc floor machine (LEINOS Floorboy) for a machine deep clean
Step by Step
How to Apply
Dry-clean first. Sweep or vacuum the floor so sand and grit are not dragged across the finish by a wet mop.

Measure the soap. On oiled, waxed and untreated-linoleum surfaces, at most 30–50 ml in 10 litres of water. This is a ceiling: a stronger mix is alkaline enough to stain the finish.

Damp-mop along the boards with a mop wrung until it is only damp. The floor should look faintly wet and dry within minutes, never puddled.

For stubborn marks on tiles, laminate and other hard floors, the soap can go on neat with a cloth. Wipe it off with clean water afterwards. Oiled and waxed timber stays on the diluted mix.

Machine deep clean of an oiled or waxed floor: mix the soap 1:1 with water, work it under a single-disc machine such as the LEINOS Floorboy, then rinse well with clean water.

After roughly two to four washes, depending on how hard the floor has been cleaned, follow with LEINOS 920 Floor Milk so the floor stays protected.

Coats & Recoating
- A cleaner, not a coating: there are no coats. On oiled and waxed floors, follow with Floor Milk 920 after roughly two to four washes.
Cleaning & Storage
- Rinse tools, mops and buckets with water.
- Store cool and dry. Keeps for approx. 2 years.

System & Substrates
Clean it, replenish it, renew it when soap is not enough.
The soap is the everyday step of the LEINOS floor-care system. The other steps come in less often.
The Care System
Soap takes the dirt off. Floor Milk puts the care layer back. The oil wash deals with what neither can reach.
Long-term Care
Extends the life of the finish over the years.
Substrate Fit
930 works on — and what it doesn’t.
Suitable
Recommended substrates
- Oiled and waxed timber floors — plank, strip and parquet
- Wooden worktops
- Untreated linoleum
- Tiles, laminate and PVC floors
- Lacquered surfaces
Honest Limits
Where to use a different product
- Outdoors — this is an indoor cleaner.
- Oiled or waxed surfaces at more than 30–50 ml per 10 litres — the alkaline soap stains the finish.
- Floors with years of ground-in grime in the traffic lanes — soap cannot reach it. That is the oil wash with Oil Refurbisher 285. LEINOS 285 Oil Refurbisher
Use With Care
Working safely with 930
- Causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation (GHS-07). Wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate.
- If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if easy to do, and keep rinsing. If irritation persists, get medical advice.
- Keep out of reach of children. Avoid release of the concentrate to the environment.
Full Declaration
Composition
Every ingredient declared on the label. The Trust Hub explains what each one does and the standards behind it.
Water
The carrier. The soap is supplied as a ready-to-use liquid concentrate, and is diluted further with water in the bucket.
Potassium soap of vegetable oils
The potassium salts of fatty acids from vegetable oils: a soft soap made the old way. A soft soap in the old sense. It is alkaline, which is why the dilution on oiled surfaces is capped.
Got Questions?
Frequently Asked
Quick answers on formulation, application and Indian-climate suitability. Pulled from our full FAQ and TDS library.
- Frequency depends on wear. High-traffic floors may need care every 6-12 months, while furniture typically needs annual maintenance.
- Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on natural oil finishes: they wash the oil out of the pore. LEINOS Vegetable Soap 930 is made for them, used weak, at most 30–50 ml in 10 litres of water, and followed by Floor Milk 920 every few washes.
- Light scratches can often be repaired by applying a thin coat of the original oil or care product. Deep damage may require local sanding and recoating.
- Yes. Lacquered surfaces are among those it is made for, together with tiles, laminate, PVC and oiled or waxed timber. Use the same diluted mix and a well-wrung mop. This is the difference from LEINOS 285 Oil Refurbisher, which is only for oiled and waxed floors.
- At 30–50 ml per 10-litre bucket, one litre makes 20 to 33 buckets of wash water. That is why it comes as a concentrate. It is packed in 1, 2.5 and 10 litres: the litre bottle suits a home, the larger packs suit contractors and anyone also using it to clean tools on site.
- Almost always, the mix was too strong. Soap is alkaline, and above 30–50 ml in 10 litres of water it can stain an oiled or waxed surface. Go back to the weaker mix, and give the floor a pass of LEINOS 920 Floor Milk to restore the care layer. If the patches stay, send us a photograph and we will tell you what the floor needs.
