Brushed Pine Paneling with Whitewash Effect
in Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Brushed pine wall paneling in Noida — washed with LEINOS White Lacquer 820. Scandinavian whitewashed effect that exposes the brushed grain ridges.

Context
The brief, and the surface.
Horizontal pine tongue-and-groove paneling with a visible brushed texture — softwood removed by a wire brush, leaving hard grain ridges standing proud. To achieve a Scandinavian whitened wood effect, the team applied LEINOS White Lacquer 820 as a thin wash coat, brushed on then wiped back with a cloth before drying.
The wash technique gives the white lacquer a foothold in the recessed brushed grain while leaving the hard ridges close to bare pine colour. Wipe-back was done with a lint-free cloth within 3 minutes of application — before the lacquer started to skin.

Outcome
The result on site.
Brushed pine paneling in Noida — LEINOS White Lacquer 820 wash technique preserves the tonal contrast between recessed wash-coloured wood and exposed hard-ridge pine colour.
The boards show a distinctive whitened appearance: softer recessed wood has taken on a pale grey-white tone, while the harder grain ridges retain their natural pine colour. The texture reads strongly under raking light, flatter under direct.
Results vary by surface condition, climate exposure, application method, and ongoing maintenance.
