A custom-built curved wooden garden bench with a slatted seat and spindle backrest, set in a sheltered garden veranda in Pune. The bench needed a paint that would deliver uniform matte coverage across complex curved geometry without filming over the slat-and-spindle profile. LEINOS White Lacquer 820, tinted to a matte steel-blue, was applied in three brush coats.
Curved seat and spindle backrest meant brush-only application — no roller can follow the radius. The team used a 25mm brush for the slats and a 10mm angular sash brush for the spindle channels. Three thin coats at 8-hour intervals delivered the uniform colour without telegraphing brush marks.
