A residential living room feature wall painted in rich deep crimson with LEINOS Anti-Mould Lime Paint 665, set against warm yellow-painted adjacent walls. The brief called for a saturated red that would behave as a clear focal point without bleeding visually into the yellow surround.

Crimson over yellow undercoat required careful inter-coat masking at the corner — yellow paint particles transferred onto the wet red roller would have muddied the colour. The team taped the corner joint, applied three crimson coats at 8-hour intervals, removed the tape immediately after the third coat while still tacky to avoid skin-pull.
