Whole-Home Natural Finish in Noida

Noida, Uttar PradeshReel · 0:13

A complete home in Noida finished surface by surface in natural LEINOS coatings — breathable Lime Paint 665 across every wall (including exposed brick) for a soft matte finish, and colourless Hardwax Oil 290 on all the wood: sliding barn doors, panelling, an arched dresser and ceiling beams.

The Brief

The brief, and the surface.

Surface
Whole-home interior — smooth plaster and exposed-brick walls, plus extensive light-toned joinery (barn doors, panelling, arched dresser, ceiling beams, slatted partitions)
Climate & Exposure
Interior, Noida (North India) — hot, dry continental climate; no direct weather exposure
On-site Notes
  • One lime paint across both smooth plaster and exposed brick — a breathable matte that lets masonry keep releasing moisture
  • Colourless Hardwax Oil on pale joinery — protects against daily wear without the amber shift of a pigmented oil

A whole apartment in Noida taken on as a single natural-finish project, with the LEINOS India team coating every surface from floor to ceiling. The walls — smooth plaster and an exposed brick feature wall alike — were brought to a soft, breathable matte in Lime Paint 665. The extensive light-toned joinery (sliding barn doors, wall panelling, an arched display dresser, ceiling beams and slatted partitions) was finished in colourless Hardwax Oil 290. The mineral wall paint and the wood oil were chosen as a pair so walls and timber would read as one calm, warm interior rather than a patchwork of finishes.

Carrying one mineral paint across both smooth plaster and exposed brick plays to lime's strength — a breathable matte that lets masonry keep releasing moisture instead of sealing it under a film. On the joinery, the colourless grade of Hardwax Oil 290 was the deliberate choice: it protects the pale timber against daily wear without the amber shift a pigmented oil would add, so the light wood stays light against the warm lime walls.

Outcome

The result on site.

A whole home finished in two natural systems — breathable Lime Paint 665 on every wall and colourless Hardwax Oil 290 on every wooden element, floor to ceiling.

Walls and woodwork read as one warm, natural interior — soft matte lime against pale, grain-visible timber. The Lime Paint leaves the walls breathable rather than sealed, and the colourless Hardwax Oil leaves the joinery protected against daily handling while keeping its natural tone.

Results vary by surface condition, climate exposure, application method, and ongoing maintenance.
