Lime-Finished Interior in New Delhi
A commercial interior in New Delhi finished in natural LEINOS coatings — breathable Lime Paint 665 giving the walls their soft, mottled matte texture, and Stone & Concrete Oil 254 sealing the spiral exposed-brick vaulted ceiling. Arched windows, a jali screen and a curated gallery wall make a calm, timeless space.

The Brief
The brief, and the surface.
- Surface
- Commercial interior — plastered walls in breathable Lime Paint 665, and a spiral exposed-brick vaulted ceiling sealed in Stone & Concrete Oil 254; arched windows, a carved jali screen and a brass ceiling fan
- Climate & Exposure
- Interior, New Delhi (North India) — hot, dry continental climate with a monsoon season; no direct weather exposure
- On-site Notes
- Breathable lime paint keeps the walls vapour-permeable — a soft, mottled matte rather than a sealed film
- Penetrating oil on the exposed brick vault is water-repellent and abrasion-resistant yet open-pore — no film to crack on the curved masonry, and the natural terracotta red is preserved

A styled commercial interior in New Delhi that LEINOS shared as a showcase of two natural mineral systems. The walls carry Lime Paint 665 — a breathable mineral paint that dries to a soft, cloudy matte and lets the masonry keep releasing moisture rather than sealing it under a film; its troweled, washed texture is the room's natural-texture character, set off by a curated gallery wall of ceramics and framed art. Overhead, a striking spiral brick vault — exposed terracotta brick laid in concentric rings into a shallow dome — is sealed with Stone & Concrete Oil 254, a penetrating impregnation that makes the absorbent brick water-repellent and abrasion-resistant while keeping it open-pore and without darkening the natural terracotta red. A brass fan, crystal pendants, a carved jali screen and arched windows complete the deep character and pure atmosphere the post describes.
Pairing a mineral wall paint with an impregnating oil plays to what each does best. Lime Paint stays breathable and matte, so the walls read as soft, living texture rather than flat colour — the cloudy movement in the limewash is the finish, not a defect. On the brick vault, a penetrating oil protects the absorbent terracotta without a film that could crack or flake off a curved masonry surface, and without darkening the fired-clay red, so the brickwork keeps its natural tone while gaining water-repellence and dust resistance. Both finishes stay open-pore and low-sheen, so walls and ceiling read as one natural, mineral interior.

Outcome
The result on site.
A commercial interior finished in two natural mineral systems — breathable Lime Paint 665 on the walls and penetrating Stone & Concrete Oil 254 sealing the exposed-brick vaulted ceiling.
A calm, timeless commercial interior where the walls read as soft, mottled lime texture and the spiral brick vault overhead keeps its natural terracotta red — sealed but breathable. Both finishes are mineral, open-pore and low-sheen — natural textures rather than a painted-on film.
Results vary by surface condition, climate exposure, application method, and ongoing maintenance.
