Mineral Surface
Two-Tone Yellow Lime Paint Wall Application
in Jaipur, Rajasthan
Interior wall in Jaipur — coated with LEINOS Anti-Mould Lime Paint 665 in vibrant golden-yellow using a roller. Deep saturated colour with subtle tonal variation.

Context
The brief, and the surface.
An interior wall coated with LEINOS Anti-Mould Lime Paint 665 in a vibrant golden-yellow shade, applied using a standard roller. The colour was chosen to read warm and high-saturation against Rajasthani warm-tone daylight without bleeding into the adjacent walls.
Yellow mineral pigments are particularly prone to settling — the team stirred the paint for 90 seconds before each roller load and re-stirred every 10 minutes during application. Three coats were needed to reach the target saturation; the final coat was back-rolled in a single direction to even out the texture.
Conditions on Site
- Surface
- Interior plastered mineral substrate — single feature wall
- Climate & Exposure
- Rajasthan desert indoor — climate-controlled, low humidity, hot summers
- Limitations
- Yellow pigments settle quickly — stir every 10 minutes during application
- Saturation requires three coats — lime-paint colour builds subtly compared to acrylic

Outcome
The result on site.
Interior wall in Jaipur coated with LEINOS Anti-Mould Lime Paint 665 in vibrant golden-yellow — three-coat build reaches deep saturation with hand-applied tonal variation under Rajasthani daylight.
The wall shows a deep saturated yellow with subtle tonal variation from the roller application — the variation reads as 'painted by hand' rather than 'machine-coated' under Rajasthani afternoon light.
Results vary by surface condition, climate exposure, application method, and ongoing maintenance.
