Context
The brief, and the surface.
A vaulted ceiling of tongue-and-groove pine planks above a room with natural pine wall panelling. To get a clean opaque white ceiling while keeping the walls in bare pine, the team brushed LEINOS White Lacquer 820 onto the ceiling planks in two thin coats, masking the wall-to-ceiling joint with painter's tape.
Vaulted geometry meant overhead brush passes for both ceiling slopes — the team worked one slope at a time, keeping wet edges alive across the apex. Painter's tape at the wall-to-ceiling junction stayed in place through both coats and the final cure.
