INTERIOR FURNITURE CARE · ART. 910
LEINOS 910 is a care oil for oiled, waxed and lacquered furniture indoors. Wiped on thin with a soft cloth, linseed, tung and castor oil soak into the finish and leave it water-repellent, not coated in a shine. One small bottle covers about 25 m². Made in Germany by Reincke Naturfarben.
Mechanism & Use
Most furniture polishes put a shine on top. This one is a care oil: a little goes a long way, and it ends up inside the finish.
Drying oils thinned with isoparaffins make a deep-penetrating impregnation. Wiped on at about 10 ml per m², the polish goes into the finish, and the carrier evaporates as it dries.
The oils cure with oxygen from the air and leave the surface water-repellent, so everyday spills bead up instead of soaking in. It dries in approx. 6–12 hours.
Linseed oil, tung oil and castor oil, with a natural resin ester and driers that bring the cure into hours. As an InVeNa member LEINOS publishes every ingredient. There is no wax on the list.
One bottle cares for all three finishes indoors. Furniture that was not finished with LEINOS products gets a test on an inconspicuous spot first, and polystyrene plastic is never treated with it.
Where It Lives
Oiled furniture
Feeds a penetrating-oil finish and keeps it water-repellent.
Waxed furniture
Refreshes the surface without stripping the wax.
Lacquered furniture
Named alongside oiled and waxed surfaces. Test first if the lacquer is not LEINOS.
Dining and coffee tables
The surfaces that see the most spills, cups and plates.
Sideboards, cabinets and wardrobes
Large flat panels, cared for with a few millilitres.
Furniture in children’s rooms
Tested for element migration to DIN EN 71-3. Keep the bottle out of reach.
Compliance · DIN · EU
Four anchors for a small bottle, including a solvent figure we publish rather than hide.
Element migration
Tested for the migration of elements, the standard written for surfaces children touch.
Solvent content
Under the 700 g/l Category f limit, but high in absolute terms. This is a solvent-borne oil, so ventilate while it dries.
Ingredient disclosure
Every ingredient is published: linseed, tung and castor oil, natural resin ester, isoparaffins and driers.
Origin
Manufactured by Reincke Naturfarben in Horneburg, to the same formulation sold in Germany.
The EN 71-3 test is about the dried finish. The liquid in the bottle is another matter: it may be fatal if swallowed and enters the airways, so keep it locked away from children and never induce vomiting. The VOC figure is high because this is a solvent-borne oil, and it needs ventilation while it dries. The TDS is downloadable; the safety data sheet is issued on request — use Talk to LEINOS above.

Dust the piece and wipe it clean and dry. Polish goes onto a clean surface.

Shake the bottle carefully before use.

On furniture that was not finished with LEINOS products, test an inconspicuous spot first. Never use it on polystyrene plastic.

Put a little polish on a clean, soft cloth. About 10 ml covers a square metre, so a small amount does a whole tabletop.

Wipe it on thin along the grain, one even pass over the whole surface.

Let it dry for approx. 6–12 hours, with the room ventilated. Afterwards spills bead on the surface.

System & Substrates
Furniture Polish is the regular step. Soap comes before it when a surface is greasy; the care oil wash comes after it when a finish has worn thin.
The Care System
Soap lifts grease off. Furniture Polish feeds the finish. On oiled surfaces, Oil Refurbisher renews what polish can no longer reach.
Long-term Care
Extends the life of the finish over the years.

Every ingredient declared on the label. The Trust Hub explains what each one does and the standards behind it.
The drying-oil base, pressed from flax. It goes into the finish and cures with oxygen from the air.
Wood oil (tung)
Tung oil, from the nut of the tung tree. It cures harder and more water-repellent than linseed alone.
Castor oil
A co-binder that keeps the cured care layer flexible as the wood moves.
Natural resin ester
Rosin ester, from pine. It gives the cured oil body and resistance to marking.
Isoparaffins
The carrier that thins the oils so a cloth can spread them at 10 ml per m². It evaporates as the polish dries, and it accounts for the 550 g/l VOC figure.
Driers
Zinc, manganese and zirconium salts that bring the cure into hours rather than weeks.
